What age is The Wise Owl Forest for?
The platform is designed for children from around age 6. Most stories are aimed at children between 6 and 9, but each story has its own age guidance.
Is this therapy?
No. The Wise Owl Forest is a story platform with psychologically informed content. It does not replace professional assessment, support or treatment.
Can my child watch independently?
Yes. A parent decides in advance which stories are visible in the child area. Watching together is always possible too.
Is there free content?
Yes. Hedgehog Throws a Party will be the free introductory story. Other stories may be premium.
What can I see before buying a premium story?
The story information page is visible before purchase. Colouring pages are freely available too. The video, activities and parent guidance become available after purchase.
Are there adverts or social features for children?
No. The child area is not designed as a social network and contains no advertising or contact with strangers.
Can professionals use the stories?
Yes. Child psychologists, therapists, educational specialists, teachers and other professionals can use the stories as a starting point for conversation or an activity. The professional offer is still being developed.
Is the site available in Dutch and English?
Yes. The public website and the stories are offered in Dutch and English.
