Stories to grow together

Warm stories for children aged 6 and up

The Wise Owl Forest is a woodland world filled with stories and activities for children. Familiar animal characters give children simple words for feelings, thoughts and difficult moments. Most stories are designed for children around ages 6 to 9. Each story has its own age guidance.

The Wise Owl Forest, Stories to grow together

A story can simply be a story

Sometimes you watch together on the sofa. Sometimes a child chooses a story independently. And sometimes a story opens the door to a conversation. Extra guidance is there for anyone who wants it.

Simply enjoy

Each story stands on its own. Nothing needs to be solved or explained for a child to enjoy it.

For parents

Some stories include extra explanations and ideas for talking or doing something together at home.

For professionals

Child psychologists, therapists, educational specialists, teachers and other professionals can use the stories in individual support, a classroom or a group.

It started at home

Why The Wise Owl Forest began

The project began at our own kitchen table, while we were looking for simple language for anxiety, thoughts, tension and what happens inside a child. At first, the stories were written for one child. Over time, a whole woodland world grew from them.
